- Required forms (Club Rules & Code of Ethics) are distributed via email and available at the rink.
- Program Assistants (PAs): STAR 1+; strong listening skills, compassion & kindness; attendance at PA training required.
FAQs
Which program should I choose?
Start with Pre‑CanSkate/CanSkate unless your skater has prior experience. Star Academy bridges to figure skating. STARSkate/AdultSkate is for skaters pursuing figure skating skills and assessments. PowerSkate is for hockey/ringette. See each program’s page for specifics.
How do I register?
Use the current season registration link, create/confirm your Uplifter account, select your program(s), and complete payment.
Do I need a helmet?
Yes. CSA‑approved helmets are mandatory for all CanSkate levels. Skaters without a CSA‑approved helmet cannot be permitted on the ice (Skate Canada policy).
